Design Technology

Literacy In Design Technology
Students enhance literacy skills by reading and interpreting technical documents, using subject-specific vocabulary, and effectively communicating their ideas through written reports and presentations. This ensures they can articulate their design processes and collaborate efficiently.
Numeracy
Numeracy in Design Technology involves applying mathematical skills to measure materials accurately, calculate angles,costs, quantities, dimensions,weights, measures and analyse data, which are essential for precise and efficient design and manufacturing processes. This integration equips students to tackle complex challenges with quantitative reasoning.
